Stroke AssociationThe Stroke Association recognises that carers need some support as well as the stroke survivor. Our carer training provides information and practical advice to help people who care for somebody affected by stroke. Please note this course is not for professionals.

The event is in its nineth year and members of the West Midlands Network Flower Show Management Committee hope that it will be well supported and greatly enjoyed by all participants. It will take place on Thursday 30th September from 10am to 5pm at Valehead Farm, Kinver.

 
Carers in Sandwell to benefit from free knowledge and skills programme

Expert Patients ProgrammeCarers from across Sandwell can make a positive difference to their life and that of the person they care for by attending free, local group sessions which have just launched in the town.

Caring with Confidence is a free programme which helps carers aged 18 and over build on their own strengths, share experiences and gain useful information, ideas and tips about looking after someone to help them decide how to make positive changes to their caring role.
