OUR AIMS

Workwell, in partnership with the business community, the local Primary Care Trust and other partners, aim to improve health and wellbeing of workers, support the retention of employees in work and aid the return to work of others.

OUR OBJECTIVES

• Raise awareness of health issues in the workplace
• Promote health and wellbeing in workplaces
• Develop a framework and service delivery model appropriate for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s)
• Work in partnership with businesses and other organisations to develop health policies
• Plan and facilitate health improvement programmes for workplaces
• Develop methods to evaluate the impact of health improvement programmes
• Provide support to PCT partners and others in business engagement
• Provide expert advice to partners in reduction and prevention of work related illness, thus helping to keep employees in work and/or aid their return to work
• Share Best Practices through publications, presentations, conferences etc.
