Main Activities

The Main Activities for Brushstrokes are:

• Teaching ESOL with creche provision
• Parenting skills, arts and crafts activities through SureStart
• Seeking out the most hidden and vulnerable individuals and families in the neighbourhood.
• Offering friendship and hospitality.
• Helping parents and pre-school children to play and learn together.
• Networking amongst local agencies and supporting those which best engance the life of the community.
• Helping people to access local educational, health and social provision.
• Prepare families to receive the sacrements at St Philips Church.
• Providing food, clothing and household essentials to those most in need.
• Challenging structures which are keeping people in poverty
• Reflecting together and evaluating activities in the light of the gospel.
