If you have moderate to severe asthma, or any other home warmth related ailment, funding may be available for domestic heating, insulation and ventilation.

Mental Health Service Users may also be eligible.

Your GP, Health Worker or Key Worker will need to make a referral, your home will then be assessed and only if the assessment indicates that your home will benefit, the work will be carried out.

The following eligibility criteria for 2007-2008 applies:

• Only referral through a GP Practice, Health Worker, or Key Worker for Mental Health Service Users, are possible • no self referrals
• Patients must be council tenants with Sandwell Homes. Funding does not extend to those living in Housing Association properties or Private Rented & Owner Occupiers.
• The scheme will run on a first come first come first serve basis until funding for 2007/2008 of £100,000 is exhausted.
