The Community Cafe is situated within the West Bromwich and District YMCA Healthy Living Centre. It is open to all members of the community not just YMCA members.
The cafe is part of the Healthy Living Network, and has received funding from the New Opportunities Fund, Greets Green New Deal for Communities and the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).
The aims of the cafe are to promote and provide a healthy menu and incorporate the '5 a day' fruit and vegetable message.
The cafe has a weekly theme incorporating either fruits or vegetables. These themed weeks give the customer the opportunity to try dishes which they may never have tried. The recipes for all the dishes provided during the week are available for customers to take away and try themselves.
Take away sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads are available on request. |
