The CARES' Carer Support Project offers carers social and emotional support, information and advice.
The Project provides suport groups in Smethwick, Blackheatlh, Tipton, West Bromwich and Great Barr. These groups meet regularly with a varied programme of activities and give mutual help and support as carers' own experiences often help, understood or resolve another carers' problems.
'Carers Get Together' is an activity based programme where carers can choose to take part. Using community venues throughout Sandwell, activities are arranged to meet carers identified needs. A regular newsletter of forthcoming events is circulated to all carers registered for 'Carer Get Together'
