What is REWIND About? 
REWIND is based on exposing the myths that have been created around issues of 'race'. Although created hundreds of years ago, these views still have a massive impact today in terms of how we see each other. Rewind challenges these views in ways that young people in particular can relate to. The very idea of 'race' itself is shown to be false and a social construct with no basis. Although 'race' is not real, what it has led to -racism- is very real and has implications for us in all aspects of our lives. By exposing 'race' as a false concept, we can begin to address the real issues of the various types of racism and their implications for us all. Why REWIND? The project was named 'REWIND' as it is based on 'going back' to address the origins of 'race' and racism in the belief that until this done, progress will be limited.
