Relate Sandwell is part of the nationally known charity Relate, which has 60 years' experience in helping people with their relationships. We are a local charity offering counselling and other services to people in and around the Sandwell and Dudley Boroughs.

Who is Relate counselling for and how can it help?

Relate counselling is available for anyone who is experiencing problems in any kind of adult couple relationship, or after a relationship has ended - whether or not they are married, and whatever their age, race, sexual orientation or social background. You can come to Relate as a couple or on your own.

Relationship difficulties often involve confused, unhappy feelings and anxieties. Talking in confidence to a counsellor can help you to see what is going wrong and what can be done to put things right. The counsellor will help you to work out your own solutions - we won't judge you or tell you what to do.  Counselling helps people to be realistic about the choices they have, whether that means staying and growing together or deciding to bring a relationship to an end.

We offer family counselling for parents & children, siblings, blended and extended families.  All families are unique and have unique problems, but our counsellors are experienced relationship experts and are specially trained to work with families to help people resolve their problems.

Sexual Therapy is also available for couples or individuals who have specific sexual problems such as difficulty in having intercourse.
