The Community Action Project (CAP) works with the people of Smethwick to foster and support the development of individuals, groups, families and organisations within the African Caribbean and the wider communities.

 

Community Safety

Helping to reduce crime and fear of crime in the local community by:

  • Developing Community Safety schemes, i.e. Community Safety Forum
  • Providing advice and information on safety issues
  • Safety training for individuals, groups and communities
  • Developing partnerships between community safety practitioners and communities
