Sandwell Joint Strategic Needs Assessment | Print |

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is the means by which the PCTs and the Local Authorities (LA) will determine the future health, care and well-being needs of the local population and the strategic direction of service delivery to meet those needs over the next 3 to 5 years.

This forms the basis of a new duty to co-operate that is contained in the current Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill.

We are publishing here the latest version of the health needs of Sandwell.  This is the first stage of the JSNA as you will see as you read it there are unfinished elements and this is because the JSNA is not a one-off report but an on-going process.
