People: For people to rediscover a sense of community involvement they need a real role in shaping the future of their neighbourhood. People's local concerns are rarely related to in issue, so projects and programmes are designed to turn issues into holistic positive action.

Places: The urban landscapes that make up our everyday experience have a huge impact on our quality of life. The stock of derelict and underused land represents an enormous potential resource of parks, recreation facilities, new homes and job-creating businesses.

Prosperity: Strengthening local economies through sustainable job creation is at the core of our training and New Deal initiatives. In the future, the survival of many British communities will depend upon management's ability to grasp the relevance of the environment to their organisation.
