Sport Structures Coaches CIC delivers a Coaching Communities Programme within the Sandwell Borough. This programme is aimed at providing local people actively interested in sport (+16) with the opportunity to develop a coaching career in the sport and leisure industry.

• An individual needs assessment and induction
• 3 Sports Coach UK Workshops and an Emergency First Aid Course
• A National Governing Body Level 1 Award in the sport of the candidates choice
• A Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership
• Work placement at a club / organisation of the candidates choice
• Employment options/advice.

To date the programme has enabled over one hundred candidates to become qualified to level 1 standard. Additionally a number of candidates have gone on to secure employment as a sports coach.
