Sandwell PCT

Brandhall Dental Care in Oldbury and Sandwell Primary Care Trust (PCT) has teamed up to offer additional NHS treatment for up to 3,500 new patients.

The dental practice has just acquired additional funding from the PCT to meet the growing demand for dental care in Oldbury.

Arvinder Khatkar, Dental Surgeon at Brandhall Dental Care said: “We’re inviting Sandwell residents to come down to the surgery on Wednesday 25th June so they can see for themselves what excellent dental care we offer.”

The practice is home to eleven members of staff, four of which are dentists, and has three dental surgeries where patients can be treated.

Arvinder added: “Our friendly staff will be on hand to offer oral health advice and answer any questions people may have about the practice. You can even register and book your first dental appointment with us on the day too.”

Carla Hayes, Commissioning Manager for Sandwell PCT said: “In our oral health strategy we identified Oldbury and Tipton as areas that needed more dental provision. Over the 2008/09 financial year, we intend to provide NHS dental treatment for up to 17,000 new patients in these areas.

“We’re pleased to be working with Brandhall Dental Care, and we would encourage local residents to pop along to the open day and book an appointment with a dentist.”

Local residents can visit Brandhall Dental Care, 4 Brandhall Road, Oldbury anytime between 9am and 5pm on Wednesday 25th June. If you are unable to attend but would like to get in touch with the surgery, please call 0121 552 1333.
