Malthouse Stables is a multi-activity centre, and is well equipped to cater for a number of practical experiences, which include: Climbing & Abseiling, Mountain Biking, Canoeing & Kayaking, and Archery.

Climbing & Abseiling  

We have an indoor climbing wall, which incorprates slabs, overhangs and ledges, a low level traverse which spans the length of the wall, and, weather permitting, the facility to abseil out of a first floor door.

Mountain Biking

We have a selection of All-Terrain bicycles, which are available to be ridden along the canal towpaths. There are a number of circular routes that can be undertaken, varying in length and time, from one hour upwards, depending on the need.

Canoeing & Kayaking

We have a range of kayaks and Canadian canoes, which are available for a paddle about, or can be used to obtain certification levels in this skill from the B.C.U.

Archery

A selection of fibre glass and take down bows , enables us to offer the opportunity for some practice sessions, or the chance to become skilled in the art, and gain qualifactions to teaching level.
