Community Services provides a wide range of activities and opportunities for the people of Sandwell. The unit also runs mobility services for people with mobility issues within Sandwell.

Community Centres

We currently have 17 Community Centres throughout Sandwell. Services on offer include Keep Fit Sessions, Martial Arts, Mother and Toddlers Groups and Dance Classes just to name a few. Function rooms are also available to hire.

Mobility Services

Shopmobility (based in Queens Square, West Bromwich) provides mobility aids, manual and electrical scooters for people who may have limited mobility to shop in West Bromwich. We also provide a long term wheelchair loan service to enable people with limited mobility access to wheelchairs for social and recreational purposes. This service is run in partnership with the Primary Care Trust for residents of Sandwell with mobility issues.
