Sandwell's Children Matter...

 The Children's Fund aims to support and develop preventative services that will provide support for young people and their families before they reach crisis point. We are working in partnership with statutory, voluntary and community organisations to provide these services and are particularly interested in ensuring these services meet the needs of local communities.

The programme in Sandwell is structured into five themes and these are:

• Supporting families 
• Raising educational achievement 
• Promoting out of school activities
• Supporting children at risk 
• Capacity building

Many services cross more than one theme and therefore we have grouped our services into the following headings:

• In the Community
