Safeguarding Children and Young People

The lack of child protection awareness puts children at risk. Over 1,000 people within the voluntary sector have already received Child Protection Training through a partnership between Sandwell Children's Fund and the Local Safeguarding Children Board. Following the success of the initial programme funding , this has been renewed, with the aim of amaking Sandwell a place where safeguarding is at the heart of all of our activities.
