Management Structure

The Children's Fund Board is responsible for managing and developing the Children's Fund programme and ensuring that services are delivering in accordance with targets and objectives.

Strategic direction for the Board is provided by the GrowWell Executive which is part of Sandwell's Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership Structure. This relationship ensures that the programme operates within Sandwell's strategic framework for children's services and enables the Children's Fund to contribute to strategic developments.

 

The Board

 

The Board comprises:

  • Voluntary Sector representatives (from which the Chair and Vice Chair are selected)
  • A representative from each of the six Local Implementation Groups
  • Statutory representatives ( including Health, Social Services, Education, Leisure, Youth Offending Team and Police)

Childrens Fund Team

 

Sandwell Children's Fund is managed by a core programme team which is lead by the Programme Manager who is directly accountable to the Board. The team currently comprises:

  • Nicola Plant - Children's Fund Programme Manager
  • Gaynor Martin - Finance Officer
  • Dawn Porter - Administration Officer
  • Mandip S. Chahal - Commissioning Officer
  • Philip Lydon - Children and Young People's Participation Officer
  • Tharmista Patel - Programme Support Officer - Time to Talk
