Healthy and Sustainable Schools Conference 2008 | Print |

“The Healthy and Sustainable Schools Conference is suitable for primary, secondary and special schools and PRUs.  Delegates may include teachers, senior management team, learning mentors, LSPs, governors, school health nurses, etc.  Please note that we will be holding a separate pupil conference in March 2009, so please do not send pupils as delegates to this event.

 

A choice of workshops will be offered to support schools in developing the National Healthy School Status and the Sustainable Schools Award.  This year's workshop choices include: -

  • staff well being
  • involving children and young people in recruitment
  • healthy eating - what's on offer
  • climate change and energy
  • consumption and waste
  • wildlife and nature

Delegates will sign up for workshop choices on the day.

 

There will also be a large market place with display stands from organisations that can support schools become more Healthy and Sustainable.

 

Lunch and refreshments will be included.
