School Council Training

Are you thinking about setting up a School Council? Do you want to make your School Council more effective? Joanne Almond is a School Councils Trainer accredited to School Councils UK. The following training courses are currently available at a small charge to all Sandwell schools: -

• full-day INSET for staff
• half-day INSET for staff
• twilight training for staff (free of charge)
• full-day training for school council members (£75)
• refresher half-day training for pupils (£40)

Buddy Training

Training is available for pupils who have been selected to be Buddies.

• full-day (or two half-day) training for pupils (£75)
• refresher half-day training for pupils (£40)

PAL Training

Positive Active Lunchtimes (PAL) training for Lunchtime Supervisors.  Duration 1.5 hours.  Currently free of charge.

Healthy Eating Staff Training

Duration one hour.  Currently free of charge.

Healthy Eating Workshops for Parents

Duration one hour.  Currently free of charge.
