The West Bromwich & District YMCA is based in West Bromwich town centre,

opposite the Clock Tower on Carters Green. From this base we provide:

Fitness Centre: Our fully equipped gymnasium with qualified Instructors provides individually tailored programmes and health assessments.  The Dance Studio, Mini Gym and Sports Hall provides a host of programmed and hireable facilities. 

Childcare: Two-Day Nurseries, registered to provide care and education for up to a total of 125 children from 6 weeks to 5 years. Two-Out of School/Holiday Clubs, provides a safe stimulating environment for 4 years – 14 years, supporting local parents to take up education, training and work opportunities. We also provide Crèche, Teenage Parent & Toddler Group and Toy Library facilities.

Supported Housing: Two housing projects (Young People’s Foyer and General Housing Project) provide supported accommodation for 82 residents ranging from 16 to 40 years. This short-term accommodation is linked to life, social and resettlement skill development. The projects also link with initiatives to develop basic skills, job search and ICT usage.

ICT Training / Adult Guidance: The ICT / IAG facilities provides Foyer Residents and Local Community with free Internet access, Email, Games and IT training. Local residents can also access information, advice and guidance on future education, training or employment opportunities.

Community Cafe: The community café is part of Sandwell’s Healthy Living Network and provides a healthy menu incorporating a ‘5-a-day’ message.
