Live at Home Scheme | Print |

Your local Live at Home Scheme operates to support older people in your community who may be isolated and unable to get out and about as they used to. We encourage them to regain lost confidence and to become part of local life once more.

The scheme is run by local people and supported by volunteers who help with our many activities or by participating in our visiting service. For those who are unable to leave their homes, a regular visitor can be a source of strength.

Our range of activities includes:·

  • Friendship and regular visiting
  • Advice and information
  • Other services planned in response to local needs
(Most activities are free or may have a small charge).

If you are an older person who would like to join our scheme, or are someone who could offer time as a volunteer, then please call:

0121 559 6111

If you are met with an answering machine, please don"t be put off just leave a message, we will call you back.

Or alternatively you can write to the Live At Home Manager using contact details.
