Caring for Blind & Partially Sighted People of Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell & Staffordshire.
Beacon Centre for the Blind is totally independent of any other charitable organisation offering support services to visually impaired people. It aims to provide services which promote independence and choice to visually impaired people living in Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire.
Beacon Centre offers residential accommodation, day care, community support, youth activities, talking newspapers, resources and information.
There are approximately sixteen hundred people who are registered Blind or Partially Sighted in Sandwell and probably many more who fulfil the criteria for registration, but do not realise this. The Beacon Centre for the Blind offers support and advice to all these people and their families. Anyone seeking help should contact us using the details below. We also have social groups in Sandwell. Please see the document below for details of these.
