Sandwell Visually Impaired

Sandwell Visually Impaired (SVI) is a self-help voluntary group. Our members are all visually impaired themselves, or are the carers of people with a visual impairment.

We want to make living in Sandwell better for people like us. The more members we have, the stronger our voice will be. In April 2004 there were only 12 of us, and we have gone from strength to strength – we now have over 210 members. This figure represents 12.5% of registered visually impaired people in Sandwell, and we are growing all the time.
