Volunteers are recruited from all areas of the Black Country to assist in the delivery of Drug Concern's range of services.
Each volunteer is required to complete a comprehensive training programme which will prepare them to work on the helpline, as a befriender, to present drug awareness talks, parenting courses or co-facilitate support groups.
All volunteers are asked to commit themselves to at least 6 months involvement with Drug Concern. Volunteers receive out of pocket expenses and regular individual supervision and support.
