What is a Family?

Smethwick Families Matter is based in Smethwick, assisting and supporting families with children aged 8-16 years.

 

The Team consists of qualified and experienced staff:

  • Childrens Service Manager
  • Project Workers
  • Administrators
  • Trained Volunteers

Scheme Services

We aim to support and empower families with:

  • Individual Support
  • Groupwork - workshops, developing focussed family support groups, parent education groups
  • Linking families to other agencies
  • Advice and information
  • Recruitment and training of volunteers

Who is it for?

  • Families who live in the Smethwick SRB4 area
  • Parents (with children aged 8-16 years)
  • Children / Young People aged 8-16 years

How to access our services?

 

We can be contacted directly by:

  • Parent / Carer, Young Person
  • Voluntary / Statutory Organisations e.g. teachers, school nurses, doctors, community workers, youth workers etc.

What about Volunteers?
