Meet new people and make friends
De-stress
Lose weight
Lower your risk of illnesses like heart disease and cancer
If you are over 18 you should be aiming for 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week.
If you are under 18 then you should be aiming for one hour of exercise every day including two sessions of high impact exercise.
The recommended time can be made up of 10-15 minutes bouts and you need to get slightly warm and slightly out of breath to make the exercise beneficial. Vigorous exercise is even more beneficial to your health but may not be suitable for everyone.
