Single Boots is a friendly and active walking club for single people typically in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s.

We are a midlands based group with a main focal area of south west Birmingham and Worcestershire.

We organise a walk between 8 and 12 miles every Sunday.

Menopause Self Help Support Group (1:00PM)

Swan Community Carelink are starting a Menopause Self Help Support Group.

Ladies are you going through the menopause?

Would you like to talk to other women going through the same experience?

Then why not join the group. Come along and share your tips for coping with the dreaded hot flushes, mood swings and physical challenges etc.


The group is starting on Monday 21st September 2009 1.00pm - 3.00pm. and meeting every two weeks thereafter.

SALSA – SIZE with the Staff Care Service!

Salsa – size is a fun filled way to shake off those winter blues and burn extra calories!

It incorporates salsa moves in an easy to follow routine. No partner required just a big smile and plenty of hip action!

The sessions will be taking place each Tuesday (except school holidays), at Lodge Road Community Centre, Lodge Road, West Bromwich at 12.45 – 1.30 pm

It is essential that you wear comfortable clothes and flat footwear, preferably trainers/pumps.

This lunchtime activity is guaranteed to give your heart a work out, it is at moderate intensity so you will feel warm and slightly breathless, but you will feel invigorated for the afternoon.

If you have not taken part in exercise before it is advisable to seek medical advice.
