"Need Protection, Use Contraception" Campaign

CondomsThe 'Need Protection, Use Contraception' campaign, which is being jointly facilitated by the Children & Young People’s Trust and the DECCA (Drug Education, Counselling and Confidential Advice) Team to raise awareness of the importance of using contraception to prevent an unexpected pregnancy or sexually transmitted infection, as well as raising awareness of local services that are available to young people in Sandwell during the summer period and beyond.

Heat WaveHot weather across the country this week has prompted the first ‘heat health’ warning of the summer.

Although many parts of England and Wales could see highs of 30 °C, a key factor will be the night-time temperatures. Lows in some areas may not fall below 18 °C.

Cap CentreHealth Trainers at the CAP Centre (Community Action Project) are working in partnership with Awards for all and YMCA (West Bromwich & District) to offer a range of health and wellbeing services to people living and working in Sandwell.

 

A wide range of FREE fitness classes is on offer to help people take control of their lifestyle and improve their health and wellbeing.
